In January 2008 the Ministry of Defence (MOD) announced its intent to release the Princess Royal Barracks, Deepcut for disposal.

The MOD has continued to develop options for the units currently based at Deepcut with a final decision expected in early 2012.
In order to inform the development proposals to be taken forward through the planning process, DIO is consulting with the local community.

A public exhibition was held on Wednesday 7 December 2011. Following the exhibition, the Project Team have considered all the comments received and further work has been undertaken on the masterplan. Consequently, a second public exhibition giving information on the revised proposals and giving the local community a further opportunity to comment is to be held on Friday 10 February from 2pm to 8pm, and Saturday 11 February from 9am to 12pm at SPAR, Dettingen Park Store, Deepcut.

Your views are important, so please come and visit the exhibition where you can discuss the proposals with members of the project team. You will also be able to complete the feedback / response form at the exhibition.
